A woman has been charged with drink-driving following a town centre crash.
The two-vehicle crash happened on the junction of Bythesea Road and Mortimer Street in Trowbridge on the morning of Tuesday, June 25.
It resulted in heavy traffic throughout the town at around 10am with road closures on Fore Street making congestion worse.
Yasmin Miller, 26, of Lynwood Drive, Trowbridge, has been charged with drink-driving and bailed. She is due to appear in court next month.
By 11.30am, the AA was no longer reporting the incident with traffic recovering.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “A woman has been charged following a two-vehicle collision at the junction of Bythesea Road and Mortimer Street in Trowbridge this morning (25/06).
“Yasmin Miller, 26, of Lynwood Drive, Trowbridge, has been charged with drink-driving.
“She has been bailed to appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on July 16.”
