It ha been confirmed that the tenants of a Wiltshire pub have left with “immediate effect” and the venue remains closed.

The Moonrakers pub, on Nursteed Road in Devizes, closed suddenly on Sunday, June 9, with no plans to reopen, creating uncertainty about its immediate future and sparking disappointment among residents.

At the time Wadworth, which owns the pub, said it was unable to confirm when the business would reopen as they had not had any contact from the tenants.
