Police have been targeting drivers speeding through towns and villages throughout Wiltshire in recent days.

Officers have been conducting speed checks in multiple locations across the county during the last week, including Chippenham, Lea, Sutton Benger, and Biddestone.

In Chippenham, police targeted Hungerdown Lane, which has become a hotspot area for speeding drivers over the last year, according to concerned residents.

Officers urged residents to continue to alert them to areas here motorists frequently break the speed limit.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Speed checks were carried out this morning on Hungerdown Lane by officers from the Neighbourhood Team following feedback from the community.
