A Cotswolds holiday home rental business is looking to expand into Wiltshire by adding more properties to its books.
StayCotswold, which helps guests visiting the Cotswolds find their holiday destination, delivered over 9,000 bookings in the year ending March 2024.
The growing firm, based in Stow-on-the-Wold, already has a portfolio of 231 cottages, manor houses, converted barns, and shepherd’s huts.
But now it is looking to expand in Wiltshire and south Gloucestershire, by adding properties in towns like Malmesbury.
This comes after the business achieved record annual results.
In particular, StayCotswold is seeing increased demand for holiday homes that are dog-friendly and boast hot tubs.
Managing director Tom Burdett said: “Bookings for May were especially good due to the two bank holidays and half-term break, July and August are looking strong, and almost 50 per cent of Christmas week bookings have been sold already.
“Our appeal is based on a number of factors, including our targeted marketing strategies and variable pricing model, plus the fact that we are based in the area and know it well, so we can help our guests get a more authentic Cotswolds break.”
