The latest line-up for Marlborough's literature festival has been revealed.
The programme for this year’s 15th festival, which runs from Thursday, September 26 to Sunday, September 29, is being put together to offer a mix of non-fiction, fiction, poetry, children’s authors and free family activities.
So far, international bestselling author of The Essex Serpent, Sarah Perry, is set to speak on Saturday, September 28 to talk about her new novel Enlightenment.

Award-winning political and economics reporter and author of the acclaimed non-fiction novels How Do We Fix This Mess?, Who Runs Britain? and WTF? , Robert Peston, will also be at the LitFest on Saturday, September 28 discussing his latest novel The Crash.
Martin Sixsmith, bestselling author, television and radio presenter and journalist, who worked as the BBC’s Mocow correspondent during the presidencies of Boris Yeltsin and Mikhail Gorbachev will be appearing at the LitFest on Sunday, September 29 to talk about his latest book Putin and the Return of History.

They will join LitFest Patron Sir Simon Russell Beale, Celia Imrie, Robert Hardman and Zeinab Badawi.
People are also invited to enter its fifth national Love Books competition for the chance to win a top prize of £300 or a £100 runner-up prize by submitting up to 750 words about their favourite book, poem or play.
The competition, which closes on Friday, June 28, is open to anyone across the country for the age groups 13 to 15, 16 to 19 and 20 and above.
