A “vibrant” vegan market is set to take over a Wiltshire town centre.

The Devizes Vegan Market will launch for the first time on Saturday, May 18, at 10am, and will be based in the Market Place until 3pm.

Organisers have promised a day full of delicious plant-based food, ethical products, and a “welcoming community atmosphere".

"We are delighted to bring the Devizes Vegan Market to town for the first time,” they said.

They continued: “Devizes has always shown great enthusiasm for plant-based living, and we're excited to provide a platform for the community to come together and celebrate.”

The event will be the town’s first outdoor vegan market after a number of successful visits, say organisers.

A wide selection of stalls will host independent brands and businesses that cater to vegans, vegetarians, flexitarians, pescatarians, omnivores, and anyone curious about exploring a plant-based lifestyle.

It is expected that traders will offer products ranging from vegan street food and baked goods to ethical fashion brands and cruelty-free cosmetics.

Entry to the market will be free and any attendees with dogs are welcome to bring their furry friends along.

Organisers have invited any businesses interested in participating to fill out an online application to secure their spot.
