A Wiltshire pub boss is “thrilled” after the venue was crowned the best pub in Wiltshire by a prestigious awards panel.
The Methuen Arms in Corsham is one of nearly 100 county winners across the UK now in the running for the title of pub of the year at the National Pub & Bar Awards 2024.
Judges handed the High Street venue the title of the best pub in Wiltshire after praising several elements of the customer experience during their visit.
This included the service, food, drink, and style of offer at the Butcombe Pubs & Inns site.
General manager Samantha Kramer dedicated the victory to the hard work of her staff.
She said: “We’re thrilled to have won the award for the best pub in Wiltshire.
“We all work so hard to give our valued guests the very best food, drink and hospitality experience when they visit us, so to be recognised at these prestigious awards means the world to us all.”
All county winners will come together at the National Pub & Bar Awards Grand Final on June 26.
During this event regional winners will be recognised alongside Pub Group of the Year, Bar Group of the Year, and the overall National Pub & Bar of the Year.
