A quad biker who was pulled over for speeding and swerving on the roads on Sunday afternoon told police he was just desperate for a wee.
Officers from Wiltshire Police's Road Policing Unit were out patrolling the roads in Wiltshire on Sunday afternoon (April 7) when they noticed one large quad bike speeding and swerving erratically through Calne.
Police have described the male motorist as driving in "an unacceptable manner" and reported that he was speeding excessively while overtaking over vehicles on the road.
But when officers managed to catch up with the erratic quad biker, they were not expecting the excuse they were given.
The biker told officers he just desperately needed the toilet.
A CCTV image of the man has been released by Wiltshire Police who have chosen to add a sticker over his face to protect his anonymity, and the biker has now been reported by police for careless driving which put other road users as well as himself at risk.
Wiltshire Police have urged the public once again to avoid committing what they call the 'fatal five', which includes speeding, driving while using a mobile phone, driving without a seatbelt on, drink and drug driving, and careless driving.
