Wiltshire Police are appealing to the public for information after a night of football at a pub ended in an alleged assault.
Football fans flocked to the Rose and Crown pub in Malmesbury on February 1 to watch Man United face Wolves.
But a violent incident which occurred at approximately 10pm left one man injured.
According to Wiltshire Police, a man in his 50s was allegedly assaulted at the Rose and Crown pub and sustained an injury to his ribs during the incident.
Officers investigating the incident are now appealing for eye-witnesses or anyone who may have been near the pub that night to get in touch.
"Did you watch the Man United vs Wolves fame at the Rose and Crown pub in Malmesbury last month?" said a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police.
"If you did, you may be able to help officers investigating an assault.
"If you can help, please call 101 and quote crime reference number 54240013263."
