A Wiltshire based TV presenter is set to offer his expertise to locals during a free town centre event.
Paul Martin, a celebrity antiques expert who has previously hosted shows like Antiques Road Trip and FlogIt!, will be staging a charity valuation day in the Devizes Corn Exchange on March 16.
Locals are invited to bring along their heirlooms and antiques so Paul can use his extensive experience to value them for free, between 10am and 4pm.
The event is being held in conjunction with Devizes-based Henry Aldridge & Son and any items sold through the firm will benefit Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
The auction house, where Paul is head of valuations, will be donating all of its vendors’ commission to the charity.
Paul said: “I’ve been an ambassador for this amazing charity for some time – it’s a service we hope we’ll never need yet we want it to be there for anyone in our community at moments of crisis.
“The team needs every penny possible to keep the air ambulance flying and I’m proud to be able to support them at this event with my colleagues at Henry Aldridge & Son.
“Last month I supported the charity at a fund-raising concert at Salisbury Cathedral attended by Queen Camilla which was a great honour.”
