More than 100 homes have been left without electricity after an unexpected power cut near Swindon.
The power cut has taken place just north of Cricklade and is affecting homes in Latton and surrounding areas.
It was first reported at 11.17am today, February 16 according to Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks and is affecting 128 customers currently.
The area that the power cut has affected covers 16 post codes including ten post codes from SN6 and six from GL7.
The power company's website states that it intends to resolve the issue by 8pm tonight.
A spokesperson for SSEN wrote: “We’re very sorry for the power cut and are aware of a fault on our main network affecting 128 homes.
"We have had reports of a overhead power line coming down. When this happens, the power will automatically turn off to keep everyone safe.
"Our engineers know exactly where the problem is and are working hard to make the situation safe.”
This comes as a yellow weather warning for rain has been issued for multiple parts of the UK including Swindon and Wiltshire over the weekend.
