Wiltshire Police is appealing for information after a farm shop was burgled.
Burton Farm Shop, located at The Street in Burton, was broken into at some point between 10pm on December 21, and 2am on December 22, 2023.
According to investigating officers, the offenders broke into the shop, caused damage to a door, and stole cash from the register as well as the farm shop tip jar.
Police have not revealed how many offenders they believe were involved in the burglary, or exactly how much cash was taken, however the farm shop was forced to close the next day while officers investigated.
Enquiries into the burglary are ongoing, and Wiltshire Police is now appealing for anyone who may have information to come forward.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard anybody acting suspiciously overnight on December 21 to 22,” said a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police.
