The star of a popular BBC show is set to make an appearance at a Wiltshire pub.
Adam Henson, a presenter on BBC One’s Countryfile since 2001, is due to visit The Methuen Arms pub in Corsham on January 25.
The celebrity farmer, who also jointly runs Cotswold Farm Park alongside a 650-hectare estate home to herds of rare breed farm animals, is teaming up with Butcombe Pubs and Inns to host a series of rare breed supper clubs.
This will see him preside over an evening celebrating rare breed meat, local produce, and Butcombe beer.
He said: “I’m delighted to be hosting these supper clubs with Butcombe Pubs & Inns.
“We both share a passion for rare breeds, excellent local produce and great beer so it makes sense we team up and share our knowledge with other like-minded food and drink lovers.”
Adam has also produced a new beer alongside Butcombe Brewing Company, called Rare Breed.
Attendees at the event will be given five courses plus beer pairings, a welcome cocktail, a gift bag, and a signed copy of Adam’s new book.
His visit to Corsham will be followed up by appearances at The Swan in Rowberrow on February 29 and The Prince of Burford pub on March 28.
