Two Wiltshire hotels have been recognised by the AA with a prestigious award.
Both Bowood Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort, near Calne, and Whatley Manor Hotel and Spa in Malmesbury, have received the new AA Recommended UK Spa award.
AA’s team of expert hotel inspectors grants the recommendation to spa hotels with “high quality” spa facilities that offer guests “high standards in customer care and cleanliness.”
The two Wiltshire hotels are among a select group of venues across the country to receive the award, which has been added to the AA’s recognised hospitality rating scheme.
Bowood Hotel is nestled in the 2,000-acre Bowood Estate and its spa boasts state-of-the-art facilities including a 15-metre indoor infinity pool.
General Manager Jeff Condliffe said: “Being recognised as one of the two AA Recommended Spas in Wiltshire is a great recognition for all the hard work that our staff do throughout the year.
“Our commitment lies in curating a sanctuary where guests can immerse themselves in luxury, tranquillity, and rejuvenation.
“It's a proud acknowledgment of our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for every guest.”
Meanwhile Whatley Manor’s spa was described by an AA inspector as “magnificent” and can be found at the large country house hotel, which sits in 12 acres of countryside.
