Floral tributes have been left at the scene of a fatal crash on a Wiltshire A-road after the death of a motorcyclist.
A man in his 60s, a motorcyclist from Chippenham, died at the scene of a collision on the A350 near Lacock shortly after 5.30am on Tuesday, November 14.
Flowers have now been left at the scene, attached to a nearby signpost.
The man’s family were informed of his death on Tuesday morning and are now being supported by specially trained family liaison officers.
The incident took place at the crossroads near Lacock and involved a car and a motorcycle.
The busy road remained shut between the Lackham Roundabout and Beanacre throughout the day while emergency services worked at the scene.
Police reopened the route at around 3pm, nearly 10 hours after the crash, once recovery and investigative works were completed.
Any witnesses to the incident have been urged to come forward after officers launched an investigation on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash cam footage which could assist should call 101 and quote log number 27 of today.”
