A High Street fashion brand has been described as “key” to the future of a Wiltshire shopping centre after opening a new store.
Lizzie Olds, a spokesperson for Emery Gate, revealed that the retail centre was “thrilled” with its latest addition and spoke of the importance of big brands to the future of the venue.
She said: “We are thrilled to welcome Select Fashion to Emery Gate Shopping Centre.
“Having bigger high street brands is key to our future and we are delighted to welcome them to the centre.”
Select Fashion, which was founded in the early 1980s, is currently owned by Turkish entrepreneur Cafer Mahiroğlu and has over 135 shops across the country.
Its new Chippenham store will offer a wide range of “stylish and affordable” clothing, accessories and footwear for women and children.
The branch opened following two weeks of renovation work and is now offering 30 per cent off all products.
In conjunction with the new store opening, the Kandu Arts community organisation’s branch, previously located in what is now Select Fashion, has relocated to a new unit next to The Card Factory.
