Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, has reportedly been spotted in Wiltshire this week, visiting the prestigious Marlborough College.
This latest sighting, reported by the Daily Mail, comes after rumours grow about the future of Prince George’s education.
Kate previously attended Marlborough College herself, and has been said to be unsure about sending the future King to Eton College in Berkshire, where his father attended.
Now it looks like Marlborough College could be a potential alternative to Eton, as a Marlborough insider told The Daily Mail: “Catherine was here the other day. It’s been the talk of the school.”
Although the purpose of Kate's visit has not been confirmed, she is currently not doing any engagements as she's spending time with her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
The royal kids are on half-term break from their school, Lambrook Prep School in Windsor, and the Princess of Wales has been known to typically scale back on her workload during school vacations.
If Prince George were to attend Marlborough College, he would not be the first royal to do so.
Not only did Kate herself attend the school, along with her sister Pippa Middleton and brother James, but Princess Eugenie was also a student at the prestigious boarding school.
Founded in 1843, Marlborough College has taught several famous and wealthy celebrities and their children over the years.
This includes comedian Jack Whitehall, writer Dick King-Smith, artist William Morris, Samantha Cameron, the wife of former MP David Cameron, and Robin Janvrin, former private secretary to Queen Elizabeth II.
Bear Grylls' son Huckleberry Grylls is also currently in attendance at the school.
The boarding school in Marlborough, Wiltshire, offers world-class facilities including concert halls, an indoor swimming pools and huge athletic fields.
It costs just under £50,000 a year to attend, and along with Eton College, is one of the most expensive schools in the UK.
But while Kate Middleton may be considering other educational options for her children, Prince William is reportedly set on Eton College, where he and his younger brother Prince Harry were educated.
Kate, William and George were spotted touring the Berkshire college in June.
Eton College also has its own impressive list of alumni, including several prime ministers, with an impeccable reputation as one of the leading schools in the country.
With school choices on their brain, Prince William will head to Singapore in early November for his annual Earthshot Awards, while Princess Kate will remain in England to support Prince George as he takes his exams.
