Heavy rain is forecast to hit parts of Wiltshire after a yellow weather warning was issued for the county.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for rain between 6pm on Tuesday, October 24, and 10am on Wednesday, October 25.
The warning covers much of Southern England, including parts of Wiltshire stretching upwards from Salisbury to the West of the A338.
Rain is “likely” to cause some flooding of homes and businesses and disruption to transport in these areas.
While towns in the North East of the county such as Marlborough are not included in the warning, Met Office forecasts predict heavy rain for these areas.
Marlborough is set for heavy rain from 2am through to 7am with lighter rain expected to fall in the hours before and after.
The outlook is less gloomy for Devizes although around three hours of heavy rain is predicted overnight.
Wiltshire Council has since warned motorists to exercise caution and drive to the conditions while out on the county’s roads.
A spokesperson said: “Parts of Wiltshire have been issued with a yellow warning for rain by the Met Office for tonight and tomorrow morning.
“If you're out driving, please take extra care on the roads and drive to the conditions at all times.”
