POPULAR Spandau Ballet star, television and radio presenter Martin Kemp is performing in Trowbridge this evening (Friday, September 29).

He is bringing his ‘Back to the 80s’ DJ set to The Civic, having performed there earlier this year on April 29.

But if you wanted to go and haven’t booked tickets, forget it, as the event is already ‘sold out’.

Mr Kemp, who also appeared as an actor in the BBC TV soap Eastenders, will take fans on an “unforgettable journey” as he spins all the best hits from the 80s, with fancy dress encouraged. 

Speaking about his 80s tour in a recent interview on ITV’s This Morning, he said: “It is amazing – people absolutely lose themselves, singing to every word. “It is the most euphoric atmosphere I have ever been in.”

Mr Kemp recently performed his 'Back to the 80s' set at the Frome Festival earlier this month.

Tonight's event at The Civic will also feature local favourite DJ Riky G who will be in support.

The doors and a card-only bar open at 7.30pm and the event finishes at 00:30. The bar will close at midnight.
