A man accused of causing grievous bodily harm in Wiltshire has appeared in court.
Garry Cooper, of Hollybush Road, Warminster, is charged with GBH with intent.
After the 41-year-old's first hearing at Salisbury Magistrates' Court on Monday, he has since been remanded to appear at Salisbury Crown Court on October 11.
This comes after an incident that happened at around 4am on Hollybush Road on Sunday, September 10, where a man sustained a serious facial injury.
A Warminster Police spokesperson said: "Residents may notice an increased police presence in the area over the next few weeks while we continue our investigations."
