Little Dragons Pre-School near Marlborough are outstanding in all areas for the second time in a row.
The small village pre-school in Ogbourne St George has proved that size does not equal strength time and time again.
Little Dragons is an independent charity pre-school which was set up in 1984 by local volunteers for children aged two and above.
In June this year, the pre-school welcomed its first Ofsted inspector since 2017, and now staff could not be more pleased with the feedback they have received.
“Children flourish under the deeply nurturing care of the pre-school staff,” the inspector observed.
“They quickly build strong relationships with staff and other children, and they are full of confidence as they greet friends and staff and eagerly join in with activities.
“They help children express their feelings and learn ways to manage strong emotions, while having extremely high expectations of all children.”
The setting is currently one of only two outstanding pre-schools in Marlborough, along with Aldbourne Pre-School.
Little Dragons offers up to 25 places for children aged two to four, however spaces are limited for September.
“We’re so proud of our achievements, and we must say a heartfelt thank you to parents who expressed their love for Little Dragons Pre-school to Ofsted and especially to our amazing, caring staff,” said Bob Tanner, Chair of the Management Committee at Little Dragons.
