A suspected motorbike thief was snared after some "exceptional teamwork" by the police.
Officers from Wiltshire Police's Roads Policing Unit were called out to assist Chippenham Police's Community Policing Team after members of the public raised the alarm about two suspects attempting to steal motorbikes in Corsham.
A car was apprehended and one person was arrested and taken into custody for multiple offences.
The police also recovered a vehicle that was being used in crime.
News of the incident was posted on the Wiltshire Specialist Operations Twitter page.
The full post said: "RPU assisting ChippenhamCPT in Corsham after calls from the public of 2 suspects attempting to steal motorbikes.
"After some exceptional teamwork involving RPU & ARV we have 1 in custody for multiple offences and a vehicle recovered being used in crime."
