A huge concert is set to return to Wiltshire and will pay tribute to the iconic frontman of a renowned 90s dance act.
Bowood House, near Calne, will once again host Classic Ibiza where 30 house classics are reimagined by a 32-piece orchestra.
The six-hour show, which will run this July, will be headlined by the Urban Soul Orchestra (USO) as part of an eight-night UK tour.
During the event, USO will be homage to Maxi Jazz, the frontman of Faithless who died last year, by performing the band’s hit tracks ‘We Come 1’, ‘Insomnia’ and ‘God is a DJ.’
Classic Ibiza’s Lisa Ward said: “We know how much our audience love tracks by Faithless, so it feels right for us to celebrate the life of Maxi Jazz – someone who lives on in his music and continues to touch so many of us with his emotive lyrics and unique delivery style.”
They will be joined by former Pacha Ibiza resident DJ Jose Luis and DJ Goldierocks.
Last year 50,000 people attended Classic Ibiza’s shows and the event was nominated for multiple awards.
Gates will open to Bowood House at 5.30pm on Friday, July 21, and Saturday, July 22, and the show will last until 11pm.
While Saturday tickets have already sold out, Friday entry is still available.
