A brand new self-service milk and milkshake machine has been installed in The Shambles by a dairy farming couple.
Chrissie Crossman and her husband Mat recently setup their fifth self-service machine in the indoor market in the centre of Devizes after starting their Moo2Yoo business just before lockdown and growing it over the last three years.
The machine offers fresh milk in refillable bottles delivered directly from the couple’s farm in Woodborough as well as a selection of eight different milkshake flavours.
Moo2Yoo make their own bespoke milkshake syrup flavours which Mrs Crossman said “add so much value” to the milk.
The machines have become an instant hit in the Market Place, with Mrs Crossman overwhelmed by the response.
She said: “They have been so popular, so many people walked in and wanted to know what it was, and everyone was impressed with the setup.
“To put farming in the middles of Devizes is fantastic. People can just grab their milk and treats while they’re in town now.”
The newest addition to the business is a source of pride for the Crossmans, who will be in The Shambles to provide assistance on Thursdays.
Mrs Crossman added: “We’re amazingly proud… it’s just me, my husband and 110 cows. To setup three machines in five years and deliver syrups across the UK and Ireland is incredible.”
