Police are hunting three suspects who stole a “large sum of cash” from a Wiltshire Co-op in the early hours.
The Co-op on Pewsey High Street was broken into during the early hours of Thursday, April 13.
At around 1.45am police were alerted after people heard loud noises coming from the store.
Around three people were then spotted fleeing the shop in the direction of Pewsey Football Club.
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered the shutters of the shop had been damaged and “a large sum of cash had been stolen.”
Police are now appealing for any witnesses to the incident, or anyone who may have captured the suspects on CCTV or dash cam, to come forward.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers are investigating a burglary at the Co-Op store in Pewsey.
“Enquiries remain ongoing, and we would urge anyone who may have dash cam footage or CCTV which may have captured the suspects in the area prior to, or after the incident, to contact us.
