A popular Wiltshire delivery man has been mixing with the stars.
Edward Scipio, who was born with cerebral palsy and uses a motorised wheelchair, has become a familiar face in Devizes.
The 23-year-old can regularly be found making deliveries for Walter Rose & Son butchers using his recognisable customised wagon, which attaches to his wheelchair.
His mum, Sharon, said: “He’s quite well known now. He delivers the meat to all the local pubs and restaurants.
“A lot of people around town recognise him and he enjoys meeting people. He has an aura about him that attracts people.”
Edward says he is a people person.
“I find it a bit strange myself, but I love it”, he added.
Recently Edward has been mixing with celebrities and met Ant and Dec, as well as Stephen Mulhern and Rylan Clark, during a filming of ITV’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
This came just a week after being introduced to Will.i.am and Pixie Lott at a recording of The Voice Kids and two months after meeting Simon Cowell at the London Palladium.
Next on Edward’s list is Prince Edward, who he is “very excited” to meet when he receives his gold Duke of Edinburgh award at Buckingham Palace.
