A new restaurant hub with three big name brands has opened inside a Wiltshire supermarket.
The new dining space, which opened on February 22, can be found at the Sainsbury’s on Bath Road, in Chippenham, and boasts a Harry Ramsden’s fish and chip shop, an Ed’s Easy Diner and a Caffe Carluccio's.
A former cafe space in the supermarket has been transformed to offer a variety of cuisines by the Boparan Restaurant Group (BRG).
The Chippenham site is BRG’s eighth premises, after launching at Sainsbury’s Selly Oak in 2021, and will provide a food court experience offering dine-in, takeaway and home delivery.
Sainsbury’s director of commercial partnerships, Elizabeth Newman, said: “We’re delighted to have opened The Restaurant Hub, which will give customers in Chippenham the chance to enjoy a meal in-store, or at home, from a great selection of restaurant brands.
“We’ve worked together to create a destination we think our customers will love and I’m looking forward to hearing what they think.
“We’ll continue to roll out The Restaurant Hub to more locations in the coming months, as part of our wider ambition for Sainsbury’s stores to inspire and delight our customers with great value and distinctive, tasty food.”
The hub will be open from 8am to 6pm from Monday to Saturday and 9.30am to 3.30pm on Sundays.
