RAIL commuters in Wiltshire faced confusion on Wednesday morning over issues with real-time train travel information.
National Rail and railway companies such as Great Western Railway, Cross Country Trains, and South Western Railway, said the fault was affecting all operators.
GWR warned that real-time information may not be available on its app, website, and other train information services.
Meanwhile, SWR also warned that online departure boards and journey planners may not show correctly due to the fault.
Cross Country tweeted: “Due to a fault affecting all train operators, real-time information may not be available on our app, website and also other train information services. We are working with our industry partners to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
The train operator said there was an issue with a third-party booking site this morning.
National Rail said the incident is being investigated, adding: “There is a problem with real-time information on a number of systems including journey planners.
“This means that some systems may not be showing correct real-time information This is being investigated and will be resolved as soon as possible.”
Later, the company added: “The problem with real-time information has been resolved, and systems are now showing correct train running information.”
