A new crafts and antiques emporium has opened at Woodborough Yard near Pewsey.
Le Marche du Bric-a-Brac will play host to 15 different stalls selling a wide variety of goods, from local crafts and jewellery to candles and cheeses.
The market launched on Thursday, December 1 and owner Denise McAllister hopes it can provide a platform for local craftsmen, artists and traders to showcase and sell their products.
She said: “I didn’t realise what demand we would have for our stalls. We want to introduce other local craftsmen and we’re hoping that the stall holders will be very successful.
“We were pleased to welcome local members of the community for a fantastic first day.
“Customers were treated to a collection of amazing stalls, from wellness candles and scents with Ebb & Flow, to delicious cheeses and chutneys with C&C Cheeses.
“We were also delighted to welcome local workshop creators Kworkshop, jewellery, personalised handcrafted goods and gorgeous Raksha Indian Clothing.”
Mrs McAllister and the other stallholders are also planning to introduce several Christmas themed stalls as the festive period progresses.
