Petrol prices are still far higher in Wiltshire than they would normally be, so we’ve done a roundup of the cheapest places to buy petrol in our towns so you don’t have to.
Devizes
In the Turnpike Garage on Devizes Road, unleaded petrol is currently priced at 154.9p, and diesel at 174.9p, making it one of the cheapest places in the whole of the county.
Chippenham
The Sainsbury’s on Bath Road is selling unleaded petrol for 168.9p and diesel for 180.9p.
Marlborough
The cheapest place to get petrol for people in Marlborough is the Jet filling station on Bath Road- where unleaded petrol is going for 158.9p and diesel is 178.9p.
This station is just a five minute drive away from the town itself, and is located in Fyfield.
Calne
At the Esso in Calne, on Oxford Road, unleaded petrol is currently 164.9p, and diesel 179.9p.
Trowbridge
The cheapest place to fill your vehicle up would be at the petrol station at the Tesco in County Way, where unleaded petrol is 154.9p and diesel is 171.9p.
Swindon
For people living in Swindon, the Applegreen Oasis is the place to be, with unleaded petrol being sold for 159.8p and diesel at 178.8p.
Warminster
If you are based in Warminster, the best place to fill up would be at Longbridge Deverill Service Station, which is just a seven-minute drive from the town.
Here, unleaded petrol is 161.9p, and diesel is 183.9p.
Melksham
And in Melksham, the petrol station at Sainsbury’s in Bath Road is selling unleaded petrol for 154.9p, and diesel for 169.9p.
