Andrew Miller e-mailed gazetteandherald.co.uk to tell us why he thinks the air ambulance should be saved.
"I am horrified to read that the air ambulance is to be moved out of the county AND shared.
"This is a vital service which must be retained as a county service. I personally have been a beneficiary of this excellent service when, following a serious motorcycle accident on the Chippenham by-pass I was airlifted to RUH.
"Having broken both legs and one arm it was felt that the Air Ambulance was the best way to move me. I have a lasting memory, having just returned from getting my pilot's licence in the US, of being told that it was okay, they already had a pilot for it so didn't need my help !
"The Air Ambulance forms a vital part of the ambulance service in Wiltshire (a county where other vehicles may have more difficulties getting access), it is of some reassurance that the service is only under review but we need to ensure that this review doesn't lead to it being cut, like so much of the rest of our health cover. please keep up your campaign."
