WILTSHIRE'S Jordan Smith recorded two top-15 finishes across his past two DP World Tour starts as the season begins its final stretch.
The Chippenham golfer battled to a tie for 12th at the Italian Open two weeks ago before following that up - and bettering his result - by securing seventh at the Open de France last time out.
Smith's final round of 70 at Le Golf National - the former Ryder Cup course - could have been 69 if not for a costly missed putt on his 72nd hole.
But a total of 194.8 points boosted Smith up to 13th in the DP World Tour rankings ahead of the famous Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrew this weekend.
Smith's sixth and seventh top-10 finishes of the season brings his total prize money earned to €1,066,338.40.
Elsewhere, Wiltshire's Laurie Canter played in the LIV Golf Series' Chicago event while the Italian Open was on.
The 32-year-old returned to the DP World Tour at the Open de France but missed his second cut in succession following a particularly damaging 76 in round one.
Canter shot 69 on Friday but missed out on the weekend's action and will return for the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship on Thursday.
