LOCAL skills and opportunities will be showcased in a careers fair in Chippenham next month organised by the town’s MP.
Michelle Donelan says this year’s Careers Fair will be held on Friday, September 16, from 10am-1pm at the Olympiad Centre in Chippenham, in partnership with Wiltshire College & University Centre.
The Chippenham MP said: “It’s free to attend and open to all - a perfect opportunity for local people who are looking to reskill or upskill, those who are out of work or even those who just fancy a change of job!
“You’ll be able to meet some of the best employers in the county, find out more about current vacancies, discover apprenticeships and degree apprenticeships, ask any questions which you may have and get CV advice.
“It’s a brilliant opportunity to showcase the huge range of talent, skills and job opportunities which we have locally, and there will employers from a whole host of industries attending, including engineering, manufacturing, retail, science, legal, logistics and banking - to name just a few."
If you are a business or organisation and you’d like a stand at the event, email michelle.donelan.mp@parliament.uk to confirm your place
