A Wiltshire Tech firm has joined an exclusive ‘club’ of businesses led by famous entrepreneur Theo Paphitis.
Black Nova is based has been named Small Business Sunday winner in the social media campaign which was set up by the former member of the BBC show Dragon's Den more than a decade ago.
The Calne-based tech business was founded by couple Kyle and Danielle Holmes who work with various companies across the South West.
Their aim is to offer support for small businesses, sole traders, individuals and anyone that needs IT support and help and simplify things as much as possible.
Danielle said: “I am unbelievably proud of what we do, our team and what we have achieved.
“We can’t wait to be an active part of the #sbs community”.
Theo Paphitis, said: “We are thrilled to welcome new #SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses here in the UK.
“My vision is that everyone who has ever won an #SBS re-tweet from me becomes part of a friendly club; like-minded individuals who can share successes and learnings.
“The website will also give a valuable profile to the winners chosen and I wish Black Nova every success.”
The company was chosen as one of six weekly winners to gain a retweet by Theo to his near half a million Twitter followers.
The weekly initiative, set up by Theo in 2010, now has over 3,000 #SBS winners and supports small businesses across the UK.
Black Nova is already experiencing a snowball effect following the acknowledgement and has received more followers and extra orders for their web services.
They have also been profiled on the #SBS website that is exclusive to all Small Business Sunday winners.
Anyone looking for a re‐tweet from Theo can tweet him about their business on Sundays between 5 PM and 7.30 PM and include the hashtag #SBS.
Describing what stands out to him in entrepreneurship, Theo notes on his website; ‘I admire people who have passion and energy.
‘If you cannot bore your friends to death about your own small business then something is seriously wrong.’
Six businesses are re‐tweeted every Monday at 8 PM and then invited to enter their profile on the new website, attend the annual #SBS networking event and take advantage of being part of a national network of successful small businesses.
