PLANNING permission has been granted for the fifth phase of the development at Birds Marsh View in Chippenham.
Phase five of Birds Marsh View is a new development that will create hundreds of much-needed new homes for north Chippenham once complete.
Housebuilder Barratt Homes, which received the planning green light, will now build 37 new two, three and four-bedroom homes, with construction works due to start next year.

To date, 271 houses have been built by Barratt with a further 84 under construction by David Wilson Homes. Once complete, this new community will include up to 750 homes in total.
Andrea Pilgrim, sales director at Barratt Bristol said: “We are pleased to be able to press ahead with the next phase of development at Birds Marsh View, which is already proving to be a very popular new neighbourhood with people drawn to its significant public open space and excellent transport connectivity.
“With many residents settled into their new homes, the construction of phase four under way and now plans for phase five approved, it’s an exciting time for this important project to bring much-needed housing to north Chippenham.”
