TROWBRIDGE: Volkan Yildirim has recently applied for a variation of an existing premises licence at Castle Pizza, Kebab, Burger House, 7-8 Castle Street. If successful this will allow Mr Yildirim addition of the sale of alcohol to the licence for consumption off the premises on Sundays to Wednesdays 10am to 1am and Thursdays 10am to 2am and Fridays and Saturdays 10am to 3am and for the existing non-standard timings for late night refreshment.

TROWBRIDGE: Bejar Shwan Riave of Wicker Hill Food Stores of 1B Wicker Hill made an application in June for major structural alterations to the premises to include tie premises next door 1a Wicker Hill as per the plans lodged with the authority. No other changes have been applied for.

Calne: H.R Williamson Transport Limited of 5 Roundway Rise, Calne is applying for a licence to use Mill Farm, Blacklands as the operating centre for two goods vehicles and two trailers.

Chippenham: Mike Logut trading as Mobius Technology of Unit 3, Rowan House, Sheldon Business Park is applying for a licence to use the address as the operating centre for one good vehicle.

Melksham: Ian Cundick and Alice Cundick trading as Magic Waste Solutions of 26 fences Lane, Corsham are applying for a licence to use Boundary Farm, 620 Berryfield Lane in Melksham as the operating centre for three goods vehicles.

Bradford on Avon: Wiltshire Council has given notice that Footpath 24 (South Wraxall) from its junction with Footpath 8A for 600 meters heading north will be closed. This is to enable construction of four new holes for a golf course. An alternative route will be provided around the field edges to the east and the closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This order was originally due to come to a close on June 28, however, it has now been extended until December 28 or until the work is completed – whichever comes first.

WESTBURY: Wiltshire Council has given notice that it intends to temporarily stop traffic on the B3098 (Westbury and Bratton) from its junction with Bitham Park to where it meets with Court Lane. This closure is to allow for the local authority to carry out carriageway and resurfacing works. An alternative route is suggested along the unaffected lengths of the B3098, A350, A361, A360 and vice versa. The diversion and closure will be clearly marked by traffic signs. This work will begin on July 30, 2021 and will take place between the hours of 7am and 7pm. It is anticipated that the work will be completed after August 11. A spokesman for the council said: “It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.”

MARLBOROUGH: Eliane Ltd of 8 and 9 Hughenden Yard has applied for a premises licence for the sale of alcohol on and off premises between the hours of 8.30am and 11pm Monday to Sunday.

ANDOVER: NX Transport of Parklands, DIRFT East, Crick is applying for a licence to use Westcoast Ltd, Andover Business Park, Centric 341 as an operating centre for 12 goods vehicles and trailers.
