Here are some of the recent cases heard before Swindon and Wiltshire magistrates courts.

PEWSEY: 43 year old Raimondas Visvilaof North Street has been fined £615 and banned from driving for 28 months for drink driving his Nissan on Marlborough Road. He pleaded guilty and can get his disqualification reduced by 28 weeks if he completes a government course by June 2022. He also pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention.

HILPERTON: Muhammed Ozdile,20, of Towpath Road has been fined £100 after admitting breaching a community order and failing to report to a planned appointment.

TROWBRIDGE: Simon Parer, 36, who lives on Ursula on the Kennet and Avon Canal has been jailed for four weeks after admitting a string of thefts, and of beating a women.

The court said he showed 'a flagrant disregard for people and their property'. He pleaded guilty to stealing health products and cleaning materials from Savers. He also admitted getting in to a building at Albany Palace, and stealing a bottle of sambuca, stealing steak and lamb from Iceland and Co Op, as well as cameras worth £99.98 from Aldi.

WARMINSTER: Garry Marc Cooper, 38, of Highbury Park, pleaded guilty to threatening to damage a police car and to assaulting and using threatening abusive or insulting words to a police officer.

He also admitted carrying an offensive weapon in the form of a metal girder, and he changed his plea to guilty for sending an offensive WhatsApp message.

After pleading not guilty to damaging a woman's car, assaulting another man and dangerous driving, he was given conditional bail until January, put on curfew between 9pm and 6am and told to steer clear of Melksham.

CHIPPENHAM: Mamadou Doumbi, 31, of Rowden Hill has had his case, where he is accused of fraudulently using credit cards moved to Avon and Somerset magistrates.

CALNE: Colin Gillett of Bank Row, Church Street, admitted drink driving. The 30 year old was given a £1083 fine and lost his licence for 23 months. He had to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £108 and costs of £85.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: William Isaac Price, of Old Court pleaded guilty to posessing cannabis with intent to supply. The 24 year old was given a community order to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months.

BRADFORD ON AVON: 29 year old Louis Rowcare of Ancliff Square pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs. He was fined £120 and lost his licence for 12 months. He also got costs of £85 and a £32 surcharge for victims services.

DEVIZES: Ashley Palmer, 29, of Roundstone Street pleaded guilty to stealing an electric razor and skincare products from Boots worth £1234.99. A community order was made requiring him to attend a thinking skills course.

DEVIZES: 31 year old Timothy Llewellyn Roberts of Chivers Road has had an arrest warrant issued in his name for sending a Facebook message and uploading Facebook posts about another woman who he was banned from contacting.

BRADFORD ON AVON: James Munro, 34 of Grist Court pleaded guilty harrassment of a woman he sent numerous text and social media messages to. The court issued a restraining order preventing him from contacting her again. He was also fined £400 after pleading guilty to damaging a car and not reporting it and driving without insurance. He had eight points added to his licence.

TROWBRIDGE: Mark Tuck, 56, of Azalea Drive pleaded guilty tp using threatening and abusive words or behaviour to another and was fined £369 plus costs of £85 and a surcharge of £37. Ryan Tuck, 22, of Ramsbury Walk pleaded guilty to the same charge and was fined £253, plus £85 costs and £32 victims surcharge.

DEVIZES: Jack Boardman, 29 of Northgate Street pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified. He was fined £500 with £85 costs and £50 surcharge to victims services.

He was disqualified from driving for three months.

WARMINSTER: James Attwater, 37, of Ash Walk has been remanded on bail for drug driving in Westbury. Swindon Magistrates will here the case in April. he pleads not guilty.
