A PEWSEY man suffering from acute depression took his own life, an inquest in Salisbury was told.
Toby Nicholas Tuxford, 56, was found near tennis courts in the Recreation Ground at Kings Corner at 5.46am on July 13.
An inquest into his death originally opened on July 21 and was adjourned.
When the inquest resumed on October 13, it was told that in recent years, Mr Tuxford had battled a recurrent depressive disorder and episodes of psychosis.
He had not taken his regular medication for these for about three months, the inquest was told.
Wiltshire and Swindon senior coroner David Ridley said it was more likely than not that this had contributed to his actions.
The coroner returned a verdict that the former engineer and company director had taken his own life.
