SEVEN couples have been shortlisted to win a £6,000 dream wedding package competition at Warminster School.
They are Korrianne and Sean from Melksham; Sally and Les from Nunney near Frome; Sophie and Alastair from Warminster; Naomi and Dominic from Melksham; Rhiannon and Rory from Warminster; Maria and Joe from Warminster, and Tara and Matthew from Trowbridge.
The school plans to donate the wedding package to a well-deserving local NHS worker who wants to tie the knot with their partner this year.
Headmaster, Matt Williams said: “When our Events and Wedding team launched our NHS Wedding Package competition, we had no idea the fantastic response we would receive.
"We have literally been overwhelmed by the interest, the moving testimonials we have read from all over Wiltshire and beyond, and the very many worthy winners we could potentially have had.
"We look forward to welcoming the winning couple to Warminster to celebrate.”
With everything from stunning Georgian architecture to contemporary dining and dance space, Mr Williams says Warminster School will provide the perfect backdrop for that special day.
He added: "For one lucky local couple, it is the chance for the Warminster School community to give a little something back to a couple who regularly give so much of themselves."
The winning bride and groom will be notified and revealed on Thursday, July 30.
Warminster School will gift them the venue hire, a wedding film courtesy of Wedding Balloon Films, and photography by local firm David Wiltshire Photography.
