A CHIPPENHAM care home has been given a 'Good' rating by regulator CQC.
Seymour House, run by The Orders of St John Trust, on Sadlers Mead, was given the rating after an assessment in November.
In the report, published last month, the care home was said to be good across the five areas of the inspection, including how caring, safe and effective the home was.
The report states: “Staff were kind and caring and knew the people living at the home well. Staff respected privacy and dignity throughout the inspection. People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives and staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests.”
Sam King, OSJCT’s assistant operations director for Wiltshire, said: “I am delighted that Seymour House has received such a positive endorsement of the service it provides. The whole team has worked incredibly hard to ensure residents receive the best possible care, and I am pleased their efforts have been recognised this way.”
