The funeral has taken place of a mother-of-two who drowned off the coast of Portugal while trying to save her children.
Jean Dinsmore, 43, and friends Robert and Deborah Fry, all from Wiltshire, died in the Algarve two weeks ago.
Her two children, and the Fry's two, were washed ashore with minor injuries.
The funeral, at Hereford Crematorium, was followed by a memorial service at St Mary's Church in the village of Eardisley, where Mrs Dinsmore grew up.
The Dinsmores and Frys, who both lived in Wootton Bassett in Wiltshire, were on the fourth day of their holiday when the drownings happened.
Mrs Dinsmore's husband Roy survived the rescue attempt Both sets of parents waded into the waters off Praia do Tonel beach, near Sagres, to rescue their children who had been swept out to sea by a strong current.
Only Mrs Dinsmore's husband, Roy, survived. A German man also drowned trying to help with the rescue.
Mrs Dinsmore's sister Jennifer Powell said it was typical of her sister to risk her life for the children.
"Going to rescue the kids - that was Jean all over," said Ms Powell.
"If the kids were ever in trouble she would be there. She loved children and would do anything for them."
