UNDER 12 GREEN
Goals from Charlie Burgess, Callum Elkins, Drew Adams, Danny Chadwick and Mitchell Stock gave Westbury Youth a hard fought 5-1 win over Castle Combe Colts.
Callum Bell replied for Combe with a second half penalty.
UNDER 9 LEAGUE CUP
AFC Corsham Leopards beat Trowbridge Town 3-1.
The scoring was opened in the first half after Callum Martin made a break down the left wing with his cross finding William Cornwell who gratefully chalked up his fourth goal of the season.
Trowbridge Town replied almost immediately with some tense goal mouth action that ended with a strike from just outside the box to send the ball rocketing into the roof of the Leopard's net.
The Leopards came out roaring at the restart with Callan Emmerson-Hicks storming through from the centre kick to claim his thirteenth goal of the season and set the score at 2-1.
Tension mounted as a slip from Jonathan Bazley brought down a Trowbridge player in the Leopard's box.
The penalty was taken well but Jakob Valentine managed to get both hands and parry the ball.
Daniel Lewis was quick off the mark to clear the rebound and prevent the equaliser.
A long kick from Valentine sent Lewis on a long run up the right wing.
Lewis crossed to Cornwell who scored his second goal of the day and secured the tie for the Leopards.
Bradford Town Youth A took an early lead against Trowbridge Town Youth E with a fine strike from Alex Holmes after some lovely passing play at the heart of Bradford's midfield.
Bradford's lead was cancelled out after Trowbridge were awarded and converted a penalty. Louis Saliba slotted the kick home with great confidence leaving no chance for Bradford's keeper Tom Hughes Bradford's midfield of Laurence Maddox, Alex Holmes and Archie Sidwell worked tirelessly and endlessly setting up goals for strikers Jack Stacey, getting his second brace this autumn, and Angus Watts hitting home his first hat-trick of the season.
Trowbridge always looked dangerous on the break but defenders Jonathan Salter, Henry and Dominic Hewson and goalkeeper Tom Hughes were rock solid at the back with Bradford's Archie Sidwell's second goal in as many weeks ending the game at 7-1 to Bradford.
Larkhall Athletic won a close tie away to Bradford Town Youth B 2-1.
Larkhall saw goals from Joe Han-Hauser and an own goal with Marcus Bartolo replying for Bradford.
Eddie Summers scored four goals for AFC Calne in their 6-0 win at Bradford Town Youth C with other goals from Ryan Collins and an own goal.
Warminster Highbury A ran out convincing 10-1 winners in their away game against Devizes Town Youth B. Archie Easton scored for Devizes.
The game between home side Larkhall Athletic B and Derry Hill United could have gone either way but a fourth goal for Derry saw them into the next round with a 4-3 win. Jack Witty-Smith, Jack Day and Nick Atwell scored for Larkhall.
Melksham Park go through to the next round after running out 2-0 winners away to Marshfield Juniors. Sam Robinson and Nathan Trueman scored for Park.
Melksham Park B took a 2-1 lead at the break in their away game against local rivals Melksham Town Youth Robins before going on to finish 4-2 winners. Park saw goals from Tai Jones and a hat trick from Jack Laundon.
Jack Harvey gave Mere the lead in their home tie against FC Chippenham B. Mere's defence then held on to their narrow lead until the break.
After the restart Chippenham were back in the game at 1-1 but a late goal from Jack Tucker sealed a 2-1 victory for Mere.
A hat trick from Ashton Shanley and singles from Timmy Jones and Scott Baker saw home side Trowbridge Town Youth A into the next round with a final score against Devizes Town Youth A at 5-3. Jamie Walters, two, and Jacob Stoner scored for Devizes.
Chippenham Town Youth White ran out 3-0 winners away to Trowbridge Town Youth B with goals form Luis Nyman, Dan Wright and Dylan Hatt.
Two goals from Kai Bush were enough to put Melksham Town Youth Saints into the next round with a 2-0 away win against Trowbridge Town Youth C.
UNDER 10'S DANIEL HIGGS MEMORIAL TROPHY
Warminster Highbury A ran out 7-0 winners in their away tie against Larkhall Athletic Eagles with goals from Jack Richardson (4), Owen Bartley, two, and Keiren Robson.
Chippenham Town Youth Blue were clear 6-0 winners against home side Melksham Town Youth Magpies with goals from Jack Utton, three, Henry Garraway, two, and Connor Jones.
Chippenham Town Youth White saw goals from Louis Clifford, Max Penney, Matt Cainey and Nick Mills in their 4-0 away win against Melksham Park Youth.
The Eagles progressed to the next round of the cup with a 4-2 win over Chippenham Town Yellow.
The Eagles went 2-0 up with goals from Charlie Wells and Ben Lewis.
Chippenham managed to pull one back before half time. Another goal from Charlie Wells and one from Mark Paterson sealed their victory.
Jake Jones and Niall Beddoe scored for the Yellows.
An exciting game between Trowbridge Town Youth D and AFC Corsham Leopards saw the Leopards take the lead only for Omar Benchiba to cancel it out shortly after. There were plenty of chances but both goal keepers were on form making great saves and keeping the scores level.
Corsham regained the lead after the break before Benchiba once again scored for Trowbridge levelling the scores for a second time. Trowbridge keeper Connor Robinson kept Trowbridge in the game making several excellent saves to send the game into extra time.
Both sides missed chances to seal a victory in extra time sending the game into a penalty shoot out.
Omar Benchiba stepped up first for Trowbridge and scored but Corsham equalised with their penalty. The next nine penalties by Trowbridge were saved or missed but Corsham scored on their tenth penalty to secure a win.
Devizes travelled to Marshfield and it took the first division visitors just 24 seconds to open their account through Juan Sesma who went on to complete his hat trick within the first three minutes as Devizes won 21-0.
Marshfield found themselves up against a strong Devizes side who had chance after chance and found themselves in a shooting practice.
Captain Liam Kennedy proved why he is just that, commanding the play and playing some wonderful one-touch football, Devizes romped home to take the score to 13-0 at the break with Sesma, Kennedy, Ollie Graham, Aaron Parsons, Jamie Hall all scoring in the first half. Again the second half proved a tough task for Marshfield but they battled on, the scorers throughout the game for Devizes went to Sesma (5), Kennedy (5), Jamie Hall (5), Martin Coombes (2), Liam Hall, Parsons, James Perrett and Graham all scoring one a piece.
The Devizes manager heaped praise on Marshfield saying that if there was a fair-play award in this round then it should be given then Marshfield as the players hung on in there and battled on.
Special praise for the goalkeeper who made some fantastic saves, also a mention for the Devizes defence who made sure the stand in Devizes keeper Luke Hamblen didn't touch the ball until the twentieth minute.
FC Chippenham B were hopeful of a place in the next round after taking a 2-1 lead at the break against Melksham Town Youth Robins in a hard fought game played in good spirit.
Chippenham let their guard down in the second half seeing the Robins equalise before going on to finish 3-2 winners. Ryan Bole, Brandon Mills and Kieran Hall scored for the Robins with Ben Leonard and Aidan Daniel replying for Chippenham.
Trowbridge Wanderers A ran out convincing 13-0 winners at home to Marlborough Town Youth.
Adam Lawes, Daniel Lawes (6), Bradley Pearce, Lewis Stevens, Sam Padfield, three, and McJoey Reserva scored for Wanderers.
Marshfield Lions ran out 8-5 winners at home to Westbury Youth Lions.
Will Billet, three, Ed Allen, two, Joe Murray, two, and Joe Mockford scored for Marshfield with Caleb Goodman, three, and Josh Gardiner, two, replying for Westbury.
UNDER 11 LEAGUE CUP
Four goals in each half saw visitors Derry Hill run out 8-0 winners against an FC Chippenham side that fought hard throughout.
Derry Hill saw goals from Kieran Glennon (4), William Blakeney, Craig Chamberlain, Joe Williamson and Ayden Knowler.
Home side Worton and Cheverell and Trowbridge Town Youth B played an even first half and first blood went to Worton when Josh Hatcher latched onto a cross and calmly slotted home past the Trowbridge keeper.
Ten minutes later Ton Hamill picked up the ball on the halfway line and ran down the wing cutting in towards the Trowbridge goal beating three players then unleashing a shot which sailed past the Trowbridge keeper.
The second half started with Trowbridge pushing the Worton defence back to the edge of their area. Worton were pinned back and Trowbridge unleashed a shot from the edge of the penalty area which found the top corner of the Worton net.
With the score at 2-1 the game could have gone either way but Wortons denied Trowbridge withsome outstanding saves.
With 15 minutes to play Worton counter-attacked Trowbridge and Hatcher once again slotted the ball calmly past the Trowbridge keeper to claim his brace. Elliot Hopkins then capped a fine performance with his first goal of the game and the fourth for Worton.
Man of the match for Worton was Ben Marshall for a fine effort in goal.
Chippenham Town Youth ran out convincing 15-1 winners at home to Bishops Cannings with goals from Joe Opie, Joe Merriman (3), James Southway, William Pascall (2), Josh Legg (2), Matthew Warren, two, and Dominic Patton, two, Trowbridge Town Youth A took an early lead through Matthew Morris after an excellent passing move down the right hand side at home to Devizes Town Youth. Trowbridge made it 2-0 after ten minutes when Morris was again put through with only the keeper to beat. Conner McKay added the third just before half time after a poor clearance when he chipped the keeper from outside the box. The second half continued with Trowbridge putting Devizes under pressure from the start. Morris added his third after being put through again with only the keeper to beat. The score line could have been more if it hadn't been for some brave and excellent keeping by the Devizes keeper.
Biddestone go through to the next round after their nail biting encounter against Frome Collegians.
Both sides made the most of their chances to see a 4-4 full time score followed by a 6-6 score line at the end of extra time.
Biddestone were the more confident of the teams in the penalty shoot out to take the game at 4-1.
Biddestone saw normal time goals from Jamrs Robson, three, and an own goal and extra time goals from Robbie Trip.
Brad Gill and Jack Booth gave home side Westbury Youth a 2-0 lead at the break against Melksham Town Youth Reds. A second half goal from Joshua Symes sealed Westbury a place in the next round with a 3-0 final score.
UNDER 12 RON BOUCHER MEMORIAL TROPHY
A CONVINCING performance saw Devizes Town Youth run out 15-2 winners over Worton and Cheverell.
Devizes paid credit to the Worton team who kept battling to the end.
Devizes saw goals from Zak Messenger, five, Robbie Whyte, Liam Mortimer, Alex Singh, two. Bradley Hill came on at half time and scored a double hat-trick.
After the first five minutes of the tie between home side Trowbridge Town Youth B and FC Chippenham the result was never in doubt.
Tom Maynard scored his first goal for Trowbridge in their 13-0 victory with other goals from Elliot Hughes (3), Jack Whiting (2), Ashley Rendall, George Hall, Jack Goddard, Tom Doveton and a further three for Maynard.
Chippenham never let their heads drop and were a credit to the league. Ashley Rendall was named Trowbridge man of the match for his control of the mid field throughout the game.
A change of tactics by AFC Corsham saw them safely through to the next round with an 8-0 win at home to Bradford Town Youth. David Mullins, Alfie Cross, Freddie Minter, Zach Carson, two, and Aaron Ward-Baptiste, three, scored for Corsham.
Joe Ross was singled out for praise for his excellent marshalling of the Corsham defence.
FC Chippenham A didn't have to travel far for their tie as they were drawn away to local rivals Chippenham Town Youth Blue.
A closely fought game saw FC Chippenham steal a 3-2 win with goals from Jamie Nash and Callum Hussey.
Jonathan Mead and Aman Uddin gave Melksham Park a comfortable 2-0 cushion after the first half against visitors Derry Hill United.
Park had several chances in the second half but didn't kill the game off until the last ten minutes when Mead slotted home his second for their 3-0 victory.
Jordan Bishop gave home side Westbury Youth B the lead against Melksham Town Youth Yellow before Jordan McNeil levelled the scores from the penalty mark.
Paul Eddington regained the lead for Westbury before McNeil scored his second to level the scores at the break. McNeil completed his hat trick after the break giving Melksham the lead for the first time in the game before Eddington put Westbury back in the frame.
With the game heading for extra time Eddington clinched the victory for Westbury from the penalty Mark leaving the final score at 4-3.
Melksham Town Youth Blue booked their place in the next round after running out 7-1 winners away to Warminster Highbury A. Mati Lyzak scored for Highbury.
UNDER 13 JACK GOODENOUGH MEMORIAL TROPHY
BRADFORD Town Youth were sure of a place in the next round of the cup after their Blues and Whites were drawn against each other in the preliminarys.
The Whites controlled most of the game and are safely through to the next round after running out 12-2 winners.
Scorers for the Whites were George White, three, Nathan King, two, Charlie Clarke, two, Duncan Burnside, two, Tom Wade, Will Gifford and Harry Butler.
Chippenham Town Rangers took the lead in the first half through David Jones then held out until just before the break when a deflected goal from Matty Southway levelled the score. After the break Castle Combe took the lead by a well worked set-piece when Harry Prangle put Combe in the driving seat.
Chippenham hit back with a second from Jones when he lobbed the Combe keeper. Ryan Clifford, Combes number one, scored the winner from a goal kick from his hands, and even though it touched a few players on the way it managed to find its way into the back of the net. Both teams put in a good performance which was a hard match to call.
Credit goes to both teams for a fantastic match with spectators from both sides enjoyed.
Home side Marshfield Juniors held firm for the first fifteen minutes of the first half against Melksham Town Youth Blue but found themselves on the wrong side of a 6-0 score line at the interval.
After the break the Blues raced to a 14-0 lead but Marshfield never gave up and were rewarded in the last minute when Sam Lippiatt finished off a good cross from a free kick taken by James Kembrey.
The Blues saw goals from Charlie Austin (3), Billy Cookson (2), Hayden Stevenson (2), Toby Wells, Luke Whittard, Bradley Parsons, Jake Brewer, keeper Luke Perrot (penalty) and two from new signing Ryan Underwood.
Sam Cooper gave home side Trowbridge Wanderers the lead in their home tie against local rivals Trowbridge Town Youth 2nds.
Town were back level just before the break with a fine shot from Jack Noden.
Wanderers regained the lead after the restart through Cameron Doddington before Ricky Hehir levelled the scores sending the game into extra time.
Town upped the tempo scoring further goals through Noden Hehir, Nick Josevski and and own goal to take the game at 6-2. Tom Woods was singled out for praise by his team mates from Town.
Melksham Park travelled away for their opening league cup game against Green division rivals Marlborough Town.
The game remained goalless throughout the first period although Park's Tamin Ibrhim was denied by the woodwork on two occasions. The second period saw Melksham take control of the game with some attractive football firing home three goals in close succession through Ibrihim, David Hewer and Alex Brownrigg. Marlborough pulled one back after some controversy in the Park goal mouth, but it was too late in the game to recover from Park's earlier onslaught.
AFC Corsham took the initiative early on against Chippenham Town Youth scoring through Matt Hughes who finished off a good move involving Will Jacombe and Danny Clayton.
Chippenham almost levelled immediately but were denied by a good stop by Adam Mitchell in the Corsham goal. Corsham then lost two defenders to injury which disrupted their play.
Only a goalline clearance by Dan McCartan prevented an equaliser. Corsham then scored a second through the hard working Kalif Barnes, who finished off a cross from Matt Hughes after good work by Harry Roberts. Corsham were then awarded a penalty after Josh Hard was brought down.
Dan McCartan stepped-up and scored. However, a second penalty shortly afterwards was brilliantly saved, one handed, by Chippenham's keeper.
In the second half Chippenham had chances to score and kept pressing but Corsham effectively settled the match with the move of the game. Josh May and Harry Hoyle combined to send Danny Clayton away; his cross was met by Kalif Barnes for his second goal of the game. Chippenham continued to press but were well marshalled by Corsham's defence, especially Nick Chandler. Corsham go into the draw for the next round.
Warminster Highbury ran out convincing 10-1 winners away to Bromham with Craig Askew scoring for Bromham.
AFC Calne took a 5-1 lead at the break away to Malmesbury Youth before going on to finish 8-1 winners.
Oliver Coulson (2), Harry Warner, Luke Champman, three, and Curtis Reece, two, scored for Calne with Scott Duffus replying for Malmesbury.
UNDER 14 TIM KERR MEMORIAL TROPHY
The tie between home side Pewsey Vale and Westbury Youth saw both sides make the most of their chances.
After taking a 6-3 lead at the break Westbury went on to finish 9-5 winners.
Cameron Amor, four, and Leis Chamberlain scored for Pewsey.
A good all round team performance saw Trowbridge Town Youth 2nds comfortably through to the next round after running out 10-0 winners against local rivals Trowbridge Wanderers 2nds.
Scott Mitchell (2), Cory Smitherman, Jack Parker (3), Jordan Brewer, John Williams and Scott Ingram (2). The game was refereed superbly by Joe Burrows.
In their derby tie home side Warminster Highbury took a 3-0 lead at the interrval then doubled it to finish 6-0 winners against Warminster United.
Conner Thomas (2), Tom Martin (2), Josh Castle and Lewis Graham scored for Highbury.
Home side Devizes Town Youth A ran out convincing 10-0 winners Bromham.
Declan McEnry, Rory Collins, Kieran Hall, Aaron Chivers (3), Stephen Rossi and Ben List, three, scored for Devizes.
Corsham FC ran out 4-0 winners against home side Amesbury Juniors 2nds with goals from Joe Lye (2), Ryan Godridge and James Cryer.
UNDER 15 LEAGUE CUP
TROWBRIDGE Town Youth B upped their game against home side FC Chippenham from the second division and for most parts played them off the park Nick Rodgerstone scored the first converting from a Ryan Greenland cross with their second scored when Sam Creedy broke away. Rodgerstone headed home Trowbridge's third goal shortly after the restart then held out until the last five minutes when Chippenham scored a consolation goal through Ryhs Merriman for a final score for 3-1. Man of the match for Town was Harry Clarke.
Trowbridge Wanderers booked their place in the next round after seeing off local rivals Trowbridge Town Youth A with a 6-4 final score.
Wanderers saw goals from Otis Young (3), Sam Worsfold, Martin Johnson and Adam Mercer with Ryan Bodman, Matt Howell, Jordan de Silva and Joe Walker replying for Town.
Aidan Lane scored five of home side Trowbridge Wanderers 2nds six goals in their 6-2 home win against Larkhall Athletic.
Jack Hoblin also scored for Wanderers with Chris Day and Will Neergaard-Tedeer replying for Larkhall.
Warminster Highbury are in the draw for the next round after running out 5-2 winners at home to Melksham Park.
Ryan North (2), Sam McKenzie, two, and Nathan Salmons scored for Highbury with Jordan Kirk and David Jones replying for Park.
A close game saw Chippenham Town Youth through after running out 2-1 winners away to Mere FC.
S Matthews scored for Mere.
Bradford Town Youth Blue netted nine with no reply in their away game against FC Chippenham B with goals from George Maropoulos, Robin Aldridge, four, and Gabriel Nathan, four.
AFC Corsham ran out 12-2 winners away to Melksham Town Youth Reds with goals from tom Smith, six, Ernie Piebst, three , Ollie Wbb, matt Perery and Josh Caine.
UNDER 16 BARRY CURTIS MEMORIALTROPHY
Westbury Youth's recent good run was ended by a good Bradford Town Youth side. Bradford took the lead with a goal direct from a free kick wide on the left. However, Westbury responded almost immediately.
A fine passing move down the right saw a cross from Jonny Tribick met by a brilliant flying volley from Callum Russell that almost burst the net. Thereafter the game was quite even until two minutes form half time. Westbury got sloppy and Bradford took full advantage to slot home two quick goals.
The second half saw Bradford much more dominant, Westbury became reliant on break always to pressure the Bradford goal. Despite gallantly holding on, Westbury could not prevent Bradford from extending their lead on sixty-one minutes. Thereafter Westbury began to tire and injuries took their toll, while Bradford went full out for more goals.
Bradord went on to finish the game off with two more goals for a final score of 6-1.
