A FINANCIAL director has retired from his post at a Malmesbury metalworking firm after serving for 40 years.
Sweetnam & Bradley stalwart Richard Wiltshire announced last month he would be ending his career after a lengthy period at the the company.
He started his career with Sweetnam & Bradley 1979 and in 1989, was part of a management buyout team.
Mr Wiltshire was known at the firm for his sense of humour and love of music.
As his leaving present, colleagues gave him an appropriate send off with a personalised laser etched stainless steel record, which was designed and manufactured in-house.
Sweetnam and Bradley said of Mr Wiltshire's retirement: "Richard has always been a much loved part of Sweetnam & Bradley and when we learned that he had decided to retire it was hard to imagine the place without him. We’re all going to miss Richard immensely - he was brilliant to work with, learn from and was always willing to help you with anything."
