WE had a team meeting on Tuesday where we cleared the air and talked about any issues anyone had.
It was the first one we've had this season and players are allowed to get anything off their chest - whether is be about performance or the food.
Sometimes they can get a bit heated but it is about being honest and everything is taken into consideration.
The staff the players and allow them to say what they want and I feel we should have about three a season.
Having one three months in works out right - especially after losing 2-1 at Port Vale on Saturday.
We get the results against the supposed big boys and then let ourselves down against the smaller teams.
We concern ourselves with the big elephants too much when it is the little ants who hurt us.
We didn't play well and obviously I was moved to the bench - and was very disappointed.
I want to play every game - it is not just a cliché - I do and I battle against things all the time to try my best.
I felt I played all right against Gillingham then we had the two week international break, and I wasn't myself against Tranmere.
But I am not going to moan because it is the gaffer's choice and he makes the decisions.
He has choices to make over players' futures but nobody knows who might leave, so we are not even worrying about it.
Of course the players think about it but nothing happens until it happens - it might be me.
But we have got a strong squad and off the field concerns, so a few people may have to leave temporarily.
Our big squad will help us in the run up towards Christmas and I believe the next month, with the games we have got, will decide where we are going to end up this season, starting with Doncaster at home this Saturday.
We have a squad good enough for promotion and we need to prove it.
But all through the club there are good teams and I read the reports on the youth team's 1-0 FA Youth Cup win over Cheltenham Town on Tuesday.
Tom Evans, who scored the last minute penalty winner, is my boot boy and I really like him, he has good character.
There are a few youngsters who are really promising and Ben Tozer has had a sniff of the first team this season.
Christmas is around the corner and Tom is a good kid and I am over the moon for him, so maybe I will buy him a little Santa outfit.
