A TWO-CAR crash closed the main Marlborough-Hungerford A4 road late on Sunday evening.
A Range Rover and a Renault Clio collided near the Palm Restaurant midway between Marlborough and Hungerford.
A woman passenger in the Renault Clio was physically trapped, although she suffered only minor injuries, and had to be cut free by the Wiltshire Fire and Rescue service.
The injured woman, the only casualty, was taken by ambulance to the Great Western Hospital at Swindon.
A police spokesman said: "We understand her injuries were of a minor nature."
The collision occurred shortly after 10pm on Sunday and the road was closed for about 90 minutes until the damaged vehicles were removed.
Diversions were set up on nearby lanes to allow traffic to keep moving.
