Teenager Stephen Jenkins has been warned he could be jailed after admitting robbing a teenager of a mobile phone, tobacco and lighter.
Jenkins also admitted stealing £30 in cash from another teenager a few weeks earlier.
The 18-year-old of Stockwood Road, Chippenham, faced three charges of robbery when he appeared before a judge at Swindon Crown Court yesterday.
He pleaded not guilty to robbery but admitted the theft of the cash from a teenager on Friday February 24 last year.
Jenkins admitted robbing another youngster of a mobile phone, tobacco and lighter on Thursday March 16 but denied a similar offence on another boy the following day.
Colin Meeke, prosecuting, said the Crown was prepared to accept the pleas to the charges which date back more than 18 months.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case so the probation service can compile a pre-sentence report on Jenkins and released him on conditional bail.
He told him "The probation service must consider all the options, non-custodial and custodial."
Jenkins will have to return on Tuesday December 4 when he will face sentence for the two offences he has admitted.
