UNDER 9 GREEN

Bradford Town Youth A produced a fine display of attacking football anchored by solid defending against a lively Trowbridge Town Youth B team.

Bradford took the lead midway through the first half through Cameron Arthur and followed this up early in the second half when Archie Sidwell smashed the ball home. However Trowbridge were always dangerous on the break with some spirited defending keeping them in touch throughout the match.

Westbury Youth Lions suffered their first defeat of the season losing 2 - 0 to Trowbridge Wanderers. Westbury went behind with an unfortunate own goal from a Wanderers corner. Westbury then went close soon after when Alex Harrison was struck the crossbar from a quick corner. The second half was a close affair with neither side creating too many clear chances. Ilyaas Humdia gave Wanderers their second goal from a free kick with a great strike finding the back of the net.

Melksham Park opened the scoring away to Devizes Town Youth after Sam Robinson latched on to a long ball up the middle and planted it firmly into the back of the net. This roused Devizes and they pressed continuously throughout the first half with no success.

In the second half Melksham gradually took command of the game and an excellent corner from Tommy Ireland landed at the feet of Nathan Trueman who made no mistake with his finish.

Devizes again pressed hard forcing two corners but Melksham defended well and as with the first goal the attackers left the back open and Sam Robinson again made a blistering run and scored a blinder from all of 20 yards.

Having no subs due to half term holidays everybody gave a hundred percent thus making man of the match a hard decision, but was awarded due to Jamie Philips his extremely hard work in midfield.

UNDER 9 ORANGE

An exciting game of two halves saw the Robins run out 3-2 winners. A great first half performance from Melksham Town Youth Robins with goals from Zac Hillier, two, and Joe Wood gave them a 3-0 half time lead against home side Castle Combe Colts.

The Colts began the second half with a goal from Tom Wodecki making it 2-1. Wodecki then hit the post as well as Charlie Baynes who was denied by the woodwork twice before he converted late on.

Larkhall Athletic go three points clear at the top of the table after running out 5-2 winners at home to White Horse Juniors. Larkhall saw goals from Freddie Isaksen, two, and a hat trick from Joe Han-Hauser.

UNDER 9 PURPLE

AFC Corsham Leopard's winning run came to an end today when they were held to a 1-1 draw against Marshfield Juniors. In an exciting first half Marshfield Juniors scored an early goal giving them a 1-0 advantage at the break. In the second half both teams battled hard but it was Callan Emerson-Hicks who made the break though to score his twelfth goal of the season and the equaliser that set the game up for a tense finish.

A hat trick from Adam Bouchama and one from Ross Spirit saw visitors Trowbridge town Youth D run out 4-0 winners against FC Chippenham B.

UNDER 9 RED

Mere Town Youth ran out 3 - 0 winners against Westbury Youth Tigers at Redland lane. Jack Harvey put Mere 1-0 up early in the first half. Westbury went close to levelling the score when Jacob Humphrey's shot when just over the crossbar.

Mere took control in the second half with further goals from Jack Tucker and fine goal from William Thorpe just before full time to give them a good win.

Eddie Summers gave AFC Calne a 1-0 lead at the break in their home game against Melksham Town Youth Magpies. After the break the Magpies equalised before Summers regained Calne's one gaol advantage with his second.

The Magpies brought the scores level before Summers completed his hat trick and regain the lead. The Magpies never gave up bringing the scores level before netting the winner in the dying minutes of the game to finish 4-3 winners. Hayden Seirs, Alex Wilks, two, and Callum Grant scored for the Magpies.

Another win for the Melksham Park to make it played seven and won seven in the Red division this season following their home game against Devizes Town Youth.

The first half was even for the first ten minutes until Jack Laundon broke the deadlock with the first goal after a fine run with good support from Tai Jones and George Morrison.

Devizes then started to put Park.

under pressure producing a fine save from Steven Brenchley and equalizing from the rebound 1-1. Melksham then had a slice of luck following another fine run and shot from Jack Laundon which was deflected into the goal by a Devizes defender. The ball was going so was awarded to Laundon.

Devizes were then awarded a free kick on the edge of the box. A well struck free kick was well parried by Brenchley but the Devizes striker was first to the ball and scored again from the rebound 3-2.

The final ten minutes saw Melksham step up their game again with Jay Athay strong as always, Liam Reed excellent at the back with some great saving tackles and runs with the ball and Ashley Beale playing well in midfield.

George Morrison and Tai Jones supported pushed forward and Laundon, who had another brilliant game, scored two more goals to make the final score 5-2 to Melksham.

UNDER 9 YELLOW

On the opening day of the season Dilton won 9-0 but today the Dilton team faced a much stiffer challenge against home side Chippenham Town Youth Blue and were grateful to win 1-0. The game was everything you would wish to see at a youth match, friendly atmosphere with great supporters, a very competent referee, Pete Hussey , and some delightful end to end football.

The Dilton goalkeeper was very instrumental in the visitor's victory as he kept everything out that was thrown at him, whilst the Chippenham goalkeeper had a relatively quiet afternoon, and a delightful goal scored by Josh Wozninak gave Dilton the three points.

Bradford Town Youth C earned their first three points of the season after running out 3-2 winners at home to Derry Hill United. William Tahta, two, and Jason Hughes scored for Bradford.

Larkhall Athletic ran out 4-1 winners away to Trowbridge Town Youth E with goals from Nick Atwell and a hat trick from Ryan White. Lewis Saliba scored for Trowbridge.

UNDER 10 BLUE

FC Chippenham move six points clear at the top of the division following their 3-1 home win against Trowbridge Town Youth B.

The first half was fairly even with both sides finding the net for a 1-1 score line. After the break Chippenham held solid in defence. George Clavery, James Barrett and Javid Pond scored for Chippenham.

UNDER 10 GREEN

Melksham Town Youth took a 5-2 lead at the break against White Horse Juniors Warriors before going on to finish 7-4 winners. Ryan Bole (3) and Evan Jewers (4) scored for Melksham

UNDER 10 PURPLE

Hat tricks from Ed Allen and Will Billet helped home side Marshfield Lions to a 7-4 home win against Melksham town Youth Eagles. Joe Mockford also scored for Marshfield with Dan Walker (3) and Ben Lewis replying for the Eagles.

A great game in very wet and windy conditions saw Melksham take a 2-0 lead with a goal from Josh Imrie and an own goal from visitors Warminster Highbury.

Warminster came back to make it two all before Josh Thornton made it 3-2 and claim the Magpies first win of the season.

UNDER 10 RED

Division leaders Marlborough Town Youth hold on to the top slot after running out 9-1 winners at home to Melksham Park. Harry Williams, four, William O'Donnell, Ffion Williams, two, Oliver Morris and Jerome Marcel scored for Marlborough.

AFC Corsham took the lead in their away game against FC Chippenham from the penalty mark which was blasted into the back of the net by Ryan Jones.

The game ebbed and flowed without too much in the way of goalmouth action before Chippenham equalised through their forward following up a shot and edging it into the net as it came off the goalkeeper.

A good run down the right resulted in a corner for Corsham and from the ensuing goalmouth melee Jay Painter stabbed the ball home from close range to continue his excellent scoring record.

The second half continued in the same vein as he first with neither side managing to add to their tally. Luke Harold scored for Chippenham.

Westbury Youth Tigers ran out clear 5-0 winners away to Larkhall Athletic Eagles with four goals from Bradley Gould and an own goal.

UNDER 10 YELLOW

A hat trick from Cameron Rawlings secured a 3-1 home win for Mere Town Youth against Trowbridge Town Youth D.

UNDER 11 GREEN

Warminster Highbury made it six wins from six games taking maximum points following their 5-2 home win against Westbury Youth. James Akers, Kieran Dimambro, Jonathan Wootten and Martyn Marsh, two, scored for Highbury.

UNDER 11 ORANGE

Chippenham Town Youth White remain unbeaten in six games after running out 4-2 winners at home to Trowbridge Town Youth. Matthew Legg, Sam Robinson, two, and George Cook scored for Chippenham.

UNDER 11 PURPLE

Biddestone's unbeaten run continues after running out 4-0 winners at home to Melksham Town Youth Reds. James Robson, two, , Hadyn Campbell and George Campbell scored for Biddestone.

Bradford Town Youth White ran out 11-2 winners against Chippenham Town Youth Blue. Andrew Sharp and Oliver Alcom scored for Chippenham.

UNDER 11 RED

Frome took an early lead after two minutes in their away game against Bradford Town Youth Blue. Bradford soon equalised with a tap in from James Bennett. The home side then took the lead with a great solo effort from Tom Francis but Frome equalised just before half time to make the score 2-2. The second half began with Frome edging ahead at 3-2 but Bradford came back with a goal from Ethan Muir to level the scores. A late push from Frome saw them walk away with the points with a final score of 4-3. Sam Byrone, Dean Grant, Lewis Perrett and Sam White scored for Frome.

UNDER 12 BLUE

Devizes Town Youth ran out 4-2 winners away to Derry Hill United.

Matthew Harris and Mack Ellis scored for Derry Hill.

UNDER 12 GREEN

The mid-table clash between home side AFC Corsham and Bradford Town Youth ended all square at 3-3.

Alex Carter, Max Stanton and Sam Francis scored for Bradford with Alfie Cross, David Mullins and Aaron Ward-Baptiste replying for Corsham. Tristan Simpkins refereed the game well.

In a close fought game Worton & Cheverell took the lead against Laverstock & Ford with a goal from David Vick.

As the break approached Laverstock brought the scores level before taking the lead. Laverstock started the second half the brighter and increased their lead before Jack Francis pulled one back for Worton.

Worton battled against the Laverstock mid-field and forwards and were forced to make several last ditch efforts to get the ball off the line.

As the clock ticked the game swung back towards Worton but they were unable to convert their chances leaving Laverstock winners at 4-2.

Larkhall Athletic remain three points clear at the top of the table following their 14-2 home win against Castle Combe Colts. Theo Ogolo (3), Harry Andrews, two, Joe Batterick, four, David Bennett (4) and Harley Lewis scored for Larkhall.

UNDER 12 REDN

Second place FC Chippenham narrowed the gap to just three points with first place Warminster Highbury after running out convincing 8-2 winners against home side Melksham Town Youth Reds.

Sean Overton and Jordon Phillips scored for Melksham.

Westbury recorded their second win of the season in this competitive match against Melksham Town Yellows played in blustery conditions at Redland Lane. After an even opening ten minutes Westbury got into their stride with two well taken goals by Paul Eddington.

Impressive first half performances from Ryan Carroll and Westbury's player-of-the match George Bray helped Westbury control the game and led to further goals from Alfie Close, Kieran Hardy, two, and a penalty for Eddington to complete his hat-trick and leave the half time score at 6-0.

The second half was a much more even contest seeing Melksham hit back with two goals in the opening five minutes. Both teams continued to make chances with attack dominating defence, but both goalkeepers made fine saves to keep the score line as 6-2 until the last 15 minutes.

Melksham finally found their way past Brandon Bennett in the Westbury goal to set up a potentially nervous last quarter. However three quick goals from Westbury closed out the game before Melksham scored the final goal of this exciting match to leave the final score at 9-4 to Westbury.

Second half scorers for Westbury were Jordan Bishop, Paul Eddington and, to complete a fine hat-trick - Kieran Hardy. Melksham scorers were Luke Thomson, two, Daniel Field and Jordan McNeil.

UNDER 13 BLUE

Amesbury Town move up into first place following their away game against Trowbridge Town Youth.

The first half was pretty even with both sides cancelling each other out leading to a 3-3 score line. Amesbury held off any advances throughout the second half and took the lead before going on to finish 5-3 winners.

Tyler Brockway, Nathan Nightingale, Connor Harrison and Harry Beckley, two, scored for Amesbury with Jake Packer, two, and Sam Walker replying for Trowbridge.

AFC Corsham ran out 6-2 winners in their away game against AFC Calne. Harry Warner and Caner Ozkaya scored for Calne.

UNDER 13 GREEN

A very even start saw Trowbridge Town Youth 2nds open the scoring against home side Westbury Youth.

Trowbridge increased their tally to three before Westbury pulled one back through Luke Booth. Trowbridge replied quickly with goal number four before Joe English replied for Westbury for a 4-2 half time score.

The second half saw a great pass to put James Harrison through to score goal number three for Westbury followed up by goals from Kai Bingham and Booth again to see Westbury take the lead at 5-3.

Trowbridge piled on the pressure and equalised to make it 5-5.

Bingham put Westbury back in the lead and Trowbridge piled on the pressure to the last whistle but could not equalise. Westbury gave a great team performance. Trowbridge saw goals from Jack Noden, two, , Ricky Hehir, Reuben Cross and Brad Arberry.

Division leaders Melksham Park ran out 5-2 winners in their away game against Worton & Cheverell with goals from Ross Challice, two, , David Haver, two, and Tyler Campbell.

An even game saw Melksham Town Youth Red run out 2-1 winners against home side Bromham. Melksham saw goals from Cory Benham and Charlie King with birthday boy Craig Askew replying for Bromham.

UNDER 13 RED

Mere Town Youth caught the unbeaten Bemerton Heath cold taking a 2-0 lead early in the first half.

Bemerton regrouped pulling a goal back before the break.

After the interval the game continued on an even keel with Mere taking one point with a 3-3 final score. Sam Perry, two, and Sebastian Drewitt scored for Bemerton with Ryan Anchor, two, and Reece Mendhan replying for Mere.

Castle Combe Colts gave a good solid team performance against a spirited Bishops Cannings team to run out 17-1 winners. Combe saw goals from Henry Green, two, Harrison Wicks (3), Harry Prangle, two, Rory McTeague (7), Joe Bailey, Hayden Bethall and Dan Evans.

UNDER 14 BLUE

After a very promising start an early goal by Josh Callum was not enough for the under-strength Melksham Town Youth Blue side against division leaders FC Chippenham .Once Chippenham got into their stride there was only going to be one winner.

The slick passing and good finishing ensured the league leaders their 9-1 victory.

UNDER 14 RED

Chippenham Town Rangers had much to celebrate after their home game against Westbury Youth 2nds as it was their first win in over forty games.

Chippenham started strongly taking a 6-1 lead at the break. After the break Westbury fought back taking the score to 6-4 then had a goal disallowed which could have changed the outcome of the game. Rangers battled back and were eventual 7-4 winners.

Curtis Small, Dan Giles, Nicky Kidd, Dines Kaucha, Peter McLaughlin scored in the first half for Chippenham with Small securing the game with his second goal after the break. Tom Harford, Mike Stubbins, two, and Luke Broadhurst replied for Westbury.

Third place Warminster United Youth ran out 10-2 winners in their away game against Melksham Park. Nick Richens and James Webb scored for Melksham.

The driving rain did not dampen the spirits of either home side Trowbridge Wanderers 2nds or Bradford Town Youth Blue. Bradford took a 2-0 lead at the break before going on to finish 2-1 winners. Nathan Osbaldeston scored for Wanderers.

UNDER 15 BLUE

Following their top of the table clash home side Trowbridge Wanderers increased their lead to five points after running out 7-4 winners against AFC Corsham. Sam Houkes, Josh Ferguson, Adam Mercer, Jordan Pinder and Otis Young (3) scored for Wanderers.

Amesbury Juniors ran out convincing 8-1 winners at home to Trowbridge Wanderers 2nds. Nick Scott (3), Lewis Burns, two, , Liam Hope, Ross Ferguson and Hayden Blackman scored for Amesbury with Sam Chettleburgh replying foe Wanderers.

UNDER 14 GREEN

An exciting game at Biddestone on a wet and windy afternoon saw FC Chippenham go ahead in the first half but this was soon cancelled out with a goal from Westbury.

Two more goals from FC Chippenham before half-time started to look safe, especially with several more chances squandered but Westbury held on well in the second half, despite several more shots on target.

Their keeper made some tremendous saves to keep them in contention and, with five minutes to go they scored to make it a nervous last few minutes for FC Chippenham. Final score, 3-2 to Chippenham.

Division leaders Melksham Park gave a great team performance to run out 8-0 away winners against local rivals Melksham Town Youth Blue. David Jones (5), Jordan Kirk(2) and Ben Macey scored for Park with Dan Caine named their man of the match.

Home side Warminster Highbury ran out clear 7-0 winners against Larkhall Athletic with goals from Sam Couch, Ryan North, Kane Peters, Sam McEntee and a hat trick from Chikiah Douglas.

UNDER 15 RED

A close first half saw home side Bradford Town Youth White take a 3-2 lead against Trowbridge Town Youth 2nds. Bradford held on in the second half and tied up the game with a fourth to go three points clear at the top of the table.

Jamie Parlour, two, , Harry Grogan and Matt Bartlett scored for Bradford.

The mid table clash between Chippenham Town Rangers and visitors Bradford Town Youth Blue saw them cancel each other out with a 3-3 final score.

Rangers saw goals from Callum Kellett, Ben Sessions and Robin Aldridge with Adam Scarf, Ryan Armstrong and Joe Woodward, with the last kick of the game, score for Bradford. Ben Lywood was named Bradfords man of the match.

Mere Town continue to enjoy their much improved season following their 7-2 home win against Devizes Town Youth. Ed Lee, two, , Shane Matthews (4) and Malichi Benjamin scored for Mere.

UNDER 16 BLUE

AFC Calne and Melksham Park shared the spoils with a 2-2 final score. Matthew Smart and Michael Gratton scored for Calne.

Worton & Cheverell and Chippenham Town Youth ground out a goal less draw. Both sides failed to take the lead after both had a goal disallowed.

UNDER 16 RED

White Horse Juniors took to the field with only nine players in their home game against Castle Combe Colts.

Combe dominated play and were eventual 18-1 winners.

Ed Clark, five, Reece Clark, Sam Cole, three, Jack Freegard, four, Jack Hillier, four, and Eddy Woollaston scored for Combe with Matt Richards replying for White Horse.
