The parents of Devizes toddler David Keeling have paid tribute to him.
David, who was two, was found not breathing in his cot on October 12 at his home in Mayenne Place.
His parents Chris Keeling and Sharon Wright said David was an adorable little boy.
Ms Wright, 43, said: "David was mischievous, laughable, playful. He was cheeky and just so loveable to everyone, he was a little star."
Mr Keeling gave up his job as a cleaner at the Wiltshire Heritage Museum in Devizes when David was born to stay at home and look after him while Miss Wright went to work. The couple also have another son, Bradley, who is seven months old.
As a result David had a strong bond with his father.
Ms Wright, a housekeeper at Green Lane Hospital in Devizes, said: "David went everywhere with Chris, in the car and shopping. Chris did everything for him."
David used to copy his father doing weight training at home.
Mr Keeling, 56, said: "He picked up two milk cartons and lifted them up after watching me pick up weights. He was a strong boy."
Ms Wright said: "David loved birds. He was always looking out of the window at the birds and pointing at them. He used to chase the pigeons in Tesco car park.
"He also loved going for long walks. We walked from Quakers Walk to London Road and he didn't need his buggy, I have never known a two-year-old to walk that far."
Mr Keeling said: "He liked dragging the shopping basket around Sainsbury's and he loved baths. He was full of life and quite forward for a two year old boy."
The couple say David loved food and a particular favourite of his was yoghurt.
Mr Keeling has traded his car, a Peugeot 207, in as it reminded him of the happy times he spent with David.
Ms Wright said: "We spent a lot of time in the car together and I couldn't bear to look at it and Chris would never have driven it again."
Ms Wright said they would like to thank everyone who has helped them since David's death.
She said: "All the nurses at the Royal United Hospital in Bath, the police and Sarsen Housing Association have been so kind, comforting and supportive to us. We are getting through it day by day."
The day before he died David had a temperature but apart from that he was fit and healthy, the couple say, and so his death is a mystery to them.
Tests to establish the cause of David's death are being carried out but the police have said his death is not suspicious.
