Prime Minister Gordon Brown has today offered his full support to the the Fry and Dinsmore children, in the wake of this week's terrible tragedy in portugal.
Rosie Fry, 11, and her brother George, nine, lost their parents, Deb and Bob, while Alex Dinsmore, nine, and his sister Lydia, 11, lost their mum Jean.
North Wiltshire MP James Gray asked Mr Brown at Prime Minister's Questions what help he could offer them.
Mr Gray said: "The whole House will have been shocked and saddened by the tragic drowning in the Algarve of my constituents, Robert and Deborah Fry and Jean Dinsmore.
"Luckily, their home town of Wootton Bassett has a powerful sense of community and will offer every possible support to the children.
"Is the Prime Minister able to offer every kind of support he can to them in Portugal and, maybe more importantly, when they return home."
Mr Brown said: "I am sure the whole House and country will join me in sending our condolences to the families of those who died in such tragic circumstances. Our heartfelt thoughts are with the children at this time.
"The consular services have been giving their every support to family and friends and we will do everything we can to support the children on their return to this country."
