North Wiltshire MP James Gray will be asking Prime Minister Gordon Brown to make every effort possible to secure the welfare of the families affected by the tragic deaths in the Algarve.
Mr Gray will raise the issue today during the Prime Ministers question time and is confident that he will get his full support.
Mr Gray said: "Two children have been orphaned and this needs handling with great delicacy.
"I will be asking the Prime Minister for his full support with the consulate and the Foreign Office and asking them for support and sympathy. Which i am sure he will give.
"These children's problems will be greater in the future than they are now. They need to be looked after and protected from the press.
"I know the Prime Minister will contact the Foreign Office and make sure they can get all the help they can get.
"All I will do today is secure general support. I am sure that the local community in Wootton Bassett will rally round. They were central members of the community."
